Four i3N 2024 articles have simultaneously ranked within the prestigious Top 10% of the most-viewed and read papers in their respective journals.

i3N has achieved a remarkable milestone in European research by securing funding for two major projects, e-FLOWER and MORPHEUS, under the Horizon Europe program. In a highly competitive call with 70 submissions for only four available slots, i3N’s success in winning two projects means the institute has secured 50% of the total funding available for this specific topic on flexible and stretchable electronics.

We are pleased to welcome João Maciel, Senior Director of R&D and Innovation at EDP’s R&D Center, to NANOMAT-Talks #23.
The seminar, titled “Energy transition challenges: The EDP way,” will take place on May 21 at 14h00, in the Leopoldo Guimarães Amphitheater at CENIMAT|i3N.

We are proud to announce that Professor Elvira Fortunato, a leading researcher at i3N, has been invited to serve as a Patron for the 8th edition of the Caixa Mais Mundo Program, an initiative by Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) dedicated to promoting academic merit and equal opportunities in Higher Education.
